Day 18 - Live Call Goodies

Actualizing the Fire of Desire

What you are about to listen to could be what you’ve been looking for.

The first 20 minutes of the Remarkable Group call we had today.

Feel free to explore a bit more….

And maybe even fall in love with some possibility.

If you want to explore with us, reach out and let me know, or click the button below.

Let’s dive in…

Are we ready. Ready ready ready ready ready. Hey. Hi everybody. Hey Sarah. Mm-hmm.

I think the right place to begin is where we always begin, noticing what’s happening. I noticed last year that REMARKABLE stopped being a course. And I realised something bigger. It’s a community. And the truth is, it probably always was.

I first did REMARKABLE back in 2006, maybe 2008. Different shape. Same thing. A community. Somewhere along the way I forgot that.

In Manifesting Mastery, I asked the people who are here to share what this actually is. Because some folks are still on the fence. They can see the community. They’ve walked past it. They’re sitting on the fence looking in. And I’m okay with that, even though I’d love them here too. But honesty matters.

We live in a world where people deny their divinity and then call opinions “my truth”. When someone says, “I need to speak my truth,” I usually say, that’s an opinion. We need to get clear.

So what’s a course. From what I can tell, there are race courses and obstacle courses. I’ve played both. I’m not a fan. A race course means someone wins, someone loses, and life becomes about the finish line instead of the dance. Obstacle courses feel familiar too. Especially online.

I hang out in what I call Never Goddard groups. Almost never is Neville actually there. I share Neville. I get hate mail. I get blocked. And at the same time, people fall in love with themselves again. That tells me we’re on course.

Now here’s something funny. I don’t chase numbers. Numbers make me nervous. But in the last 90 days we had about 100,000 interactions on the Neville page. Good or bad. I don’t know. Then in less than 28 days it jumped to half a million. Why. Because I stopped having intentions. That’s important.

Even though REMARKABLE isn’t a year-long course anymore, it’s still a community with years in it. In my world the year starts April 1st. My birthday. First day of spring. Budding trees. We start years at the hardest time instead. Winter. Freeze. Survive. Then we say, “This is my one shot this year.”

Science fair energy. I lived that. One chance to win and impress the girl. My mate Rich ran track. He had a chance every week. Different game.

There’s a better model. Desire. The dance of desire. I’m sharing the first part of this publicly, so don’t tell anyone where you buried the bodies.

Here’s the heart of it. What is a desire. And what is the Word of God. I’ve spent the last 20 days deep in this. Because everything begins with the Producer moment. Wouldn’t it be cool.

I ran an experiment. Four Mighty Ones. Four group calls. One heartbeat. I charged 400 bucks and gave everyone a free one-on-one. Seventeen or eighteen people said yes. It was cool terrain. Because everything begins with wouldn’t it be cool.

I watch you guys online. Most of your posts are “wouldn’t-it-be-cool” moments. Surrendered. Colourful. Alive.

Then we drift back to intention. “I intend to…”

And it feels like a push. A shove. “I intended to,” which gives us a great excuse later. Intention feels better than driftwood, but not by much.

Then Mike nailed it. What if you have an intention but you’re not occupying the state. Exactly. If I intend to show up but I’m not a loving teacher, what good is it.

This is a community. You have to occupy it.

Wouldn’t it be cool to come home more often.

You are a community. Elohim. The many that make the One. Happy loving husband. Happy loving teacher. Happy loving puppy dad. Those are the 3 that make up me.

So what is a desire.

A desire honours you and dignifies God. God gives desires. “Enough money to pay the bill” is not a desire. It doesn’t honour you. A desire sounds like, “I make great money doing what I love.” That overlaps. Teaching. Giving. Living.

That’s why I teach more now. I don’t ask, “If I post will someone buy.” I teach. If they learn, beautiful.

Imaginal acts are God’s Word. Not work. Word. Let there be light was not a sentence. It was acceptance. Matthew taught this. Desires are gifts. You don’t force gifts. You open them.

I want to leave places better than I found them. Scout rule. This is my campsite. This is my community. I won’t walk in and walk out leaving people more stressed. I invite them home.

Bart taught us imagination. Mental is sequence. Imaginal is space. Timeless space. Happy loving teacher is timeless. Videos come from that. Books come from that.

Simon Peter showed us this. A desire honours you and dignifies the Lord. Not survival. Not scraps. Invitation.

Beth nailed it too. Ask. Seek. Knock. Open door. Gift.

So maybe the question isn’t, “What do I intend.” Maybe it’s, “What am I inviting.” Wouldn’t it be cool.

Now let’s dance. Enjoy the recording!
